Ocarina Requests Page
At AceOcarinas we make every ocarina by hand and from scratch. We never use molds.
This is so we can always have something new to offer. If you do not see an ocarina that catches your eye in the store you can check back later and see what other designs we have come up with.
Because we make every ocarina by hand we can also take requests on what kind of ocarinas the consumers would like to see made.
Here you will be able to send in requests for a certain type of ocarina to be made and more popular requests will have more created so there is not an issue of limited supply. These are not the same as our previous custom orders section. Ocarinas requested here will be available to the public.
The reason for this is back when we took custom orders we were a much smaller business and were able to keep up with them all. Now that we have grown it is too much of a work load on our single ocarina maker. (Yes, just one guy makes all of these.) With requests it is much easier as there is no set time constraint and large lists of which private orders go to which individual.
If a customer is having trouble getting the type of ocarina they want, ocarinas may be able to be placed on hold upon their completion. You can see what ocarinas are currently being worked on and can be placed on hold on our Workshop page here -
Along with requesting a type of ocarina or placing one on hold you can also browse our workshop to request what glaze an ocarina will receive! Available glazes are listed below.

2017 Ocarina Requests
Speckled Red One Handed Ocarina
|
We were requested to make a one handed ocarina as small as possible as to be pocket sized. Red was one of the options we were given to glaze this ocarina. Being made of Speckled Clay it gave the ocarina a very unique look as the speckles actually show up through the light colored glazes.

Small Owl Ocarina - Sold For: $20.00

The ocarina is shaped like a Owl in the same style as the Owl Bass ocarina. Because of it's small size and strange chamber shape air does not flow though this ocarina like a normal pendant ocarina. Because of this it has fingering similar to pendant ocarinas but slightly different.

White Porcelain Link Between Worlds Double Ocarina D - Sold For: $90.00
I had made this new Porcelain Link Between Worlds Double Ocarina in a tutorial video on how to make double ocarinas. I was going to glaze it when Casey Badgerow saw how it looked at the end of the video and requested that I keep it's natural white color but add a protective glaze.
2014 Custom Orders
Mirror Black Transverse Ocarina D - Sold For: $50.00
A 10 hole transverse ocarina with the mirror black glaze and a paw print indent on the side. This ocarina also has hole for a string through the side of the mouth piece. The shape is inspired by the Saturn ocarina.
Buckeye Bushcraft Custom Order - Sold For: $40.00
This ocarina was ordered by Buckeye Bushcraft to have a low tone 8-Hole ocarina made with a design similar to wooden inline ocarinas and to have the Buckeye Bushcraft logo carved on the ocarina. The design I came up with allowed the logo to be on the top to be shown clearly when played but because the holes were further away from the air way they had to be made bigger. Because of this the original 8th hole was to large for a pinky hole so it was changed to a thumb hole.
Link Between Worlds Ocarina - Sold For: $24.00
This ocarina was originally requested to be a Zelda Themed 8-hole transverse ocarina. At the time I was thinking about making a 9-Hole Inline ocarina with a design based on the new game The legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I asked the customer if they would be interested in this design and they liked the idea.
Valentines Heart Ocarina - Sold For: $14.00
A custom order to make a small pedant ocarina in the shape of a heart. Delays due to bad weather prevented me from making the ocarina by Christmas so I set out to finish the ocarina by Valentines Day. I finished shaping the ocarina early on but I had to wait for a break in bad weather to pick up some new glazes. This is the first Ace Ocarina ever to have a Pink glaze.
2013 Custom Orders
Transverse Fingering Pendent - Sold For: $5.00 (Special Discount)
This ocarina was made for someone who wanted a small pendent ocarina but did not want to learn new fingering so I made this pendent ocarina have very similar fingering to an 8-hole ocarina. The only difference is the top right sub hole acts as the pinky hole. A discount was given as this same person had placed the first custom order Daniel Ocarinas has done, The Amber Relic.
Amber Relic Extended - Sold For: $68.00
I was requested to make a ocarina just like my amber relic 7-hole ocarina but larger and with two thumbs holes to give it a larger range of notes. It ended up working very well despite the trouble I had making it.
